Baby Hands SA was
founded in 2005 by Carla Resnick and is South Africa's leading Baby Sign
Language Academy, specialising in workshops and classes for hearing babies
and toddlers.
Carla has received
awards for Baby Hands which include first runner up in the Standard
Bank/Living and Loving Mompreneur Competition and, we have been in numerous
publications throughout the country.
Our programs have been designed by teachers who have used Sign Language
for many years and whose qualifications include Degrees in Deaf Education
as well as interpreters of the Deaf, both in South Africa and the UK.
We use signs from South African Sign Language (SASL) when teaching parents
how to sign to their babies or toddlers.
Baby Hands SA
offers unique Parent Workshops, where you can learn everything you need
in order to sign to your baby or toddler, and weekly Sign and Rhyme
classes which have been tried and tested around the world. Baby Hands
SA has instructors around South Africa and we are leading the way in
Baby Sign Language in the country.
Baby Hands also offers packs
which can be purchased through this site for those parents who cannot
attend workshops or classes.
